BiometrMobilell - Mobile border control using biometric techniques, adapted to the EU requirements and recommendations

The aim of the Project was to design an energy-efficient, mobile device to read biometric passports, enabling identification of the face and systematic verification of fingerprints. The Project resulted in the development of the model of a complete control device tested in real life conditions. The demonstrator offers a high level of technological readiness and has been tested under operating conditions.

The Project was co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development, implemented for the purpose of security and defence of the state as part of the Competition No. 4/2013.

The leader of the consortium was the Jarosław Dąbrowski Military University of Technology (Wojskowa Akademia Techniczna im. Jarosław Dąbrowski), the Institute of Optoelectronics.
