PWPW and sports
By supporting the sporting project, PWPW meets best practices for sponsorship activities carried out by State Treasury companies. The Company’s involvement in a sport that has the potential to promote the PWPW brand in Poland and internationally (world and European championships), is a new path of brand promotion.
PWPW is a public-trust institution, and support to sporting initiatives such as wrestling, that are free from aggressive behaviour and unclear competition, fits well within the fair-play rule promoted by PWPW, both in business and in sporting competition.
Honorary sponsorship over the events held by the Polish Wrestling Federation has been assumed by, among others: Minister of Sport and Tourism, local governments and Telewizja Polska S.A.

1st Professional League in Poland
The first professional wrestling league has been established in Poland by KLZ Sp. z o.o. in partnership with the Polish Wrestling Federation. Currently, its premiere season is underway. One of the goals of the league is to restore the golden era of Polish wrestling. Wrestling is a sport both for women and men. A win in the professional league opens up opportunities for competing with the best wrestlers in Poland and internationally. Young wrestlers will get the opportunity to gain precious experience and improve their technique in one of the oldest sports.
