The High Security Printing EMEA Award for the best 2017 banknote goes to Poland!
 (31-03-2017)

The High Security Printing conference was held in Baku, Azerbaijan on 27-29 March 2016. This year the event was held under the platinum patronage of the Polish Securities Printing Works. Our leading position in the market for security documents was especially appreciated - the gold statuette for the best 2017 banknote went to Poland!

The conference was divided into two thematic parts, each consisting of several thematic sessions (banknotes, identification documents, mobile e-IDs). It was attended by representatives of the national central banks, manufacturers of banknotes and identity documents, consulting, research and laboratory companies.

The Polish Securities Printing Works presented their products at the exhibition stand and made presentations on the new "Chess" promotional banknote and the new "Four Seasons" passport with a personalized polycarbonate page.

During the final gala of the conference, the National Bank of Poland was awarded the main prize in the category of "Best banknote of 2017" by the High Security Printing Jury. The prize was awarded for the unique graphic design of the 500 zlotys banknote, the use of innovative technical solutions and the high level of security. The prize was given to both the issuer of the banknote – the NBP as well as to its manufacturer – the Polish Securities Printing Works.

The organizers emphasized the innovative character of the winning banknote, and the representative of the NBP expressed their appreciation to PWPW for the excellent execution of this ambitious project.
