The banknote’s obverse features a portrait of Marshall Józef Piłsudski, and the reverse features the images of the Grand Gross (with star) of the War Order of Virtuti Militari awarded to the Marshall, emblems of the 1st Brigade of the Polish Legions and the legions’ eagle. The banknote was designed by Andrzej Heidrich, and the engraving was done by Krystian Michalczuk.
