The Minister of Sport and Tourism – Mr Witold Bańka congratulated the Polish medallists and provided them with special distinctions for excellent results.

The 3 medals won in Paris are an excellent result on the path to restore the golden age of Polish wrestling. In addition to the Minister and the medallists accompanied by their coaches, the 28 September meeting at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism was also attended by the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism – Jan Widera, the chairman of the Polish Wrestling Association – Andrzej Supron, as well as the director of the competitive sports department of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism – Marcin Nowak. The president of the boardo f PWPW S.A. – Piotr Woyciechowski was also there to shake the hands of our medallists.

PWPW S.A. – naming rights sponsor of the Polish Wrestling Association.

The company’s involvement in a sport that enables it to promote the brand domestically and abroad (world and European championships) constitutes a new direction in the promotion of its brand. PWPW is a public trust organisation, and therefore supporting sports initiatives such as wrestling, which are free of aggressive behaviour or unclear competition, supports this image.
