You are cordially invited to the Museum of Literature in Warsaw to see the exhibition of works of Jan Maciej Kopecki, chief graphic artist of PWPW S.A.

 

The exhibition will feature works completed at PWPW S.A. – e.g. postage stamp engravings, designs of collectors banknotes or passports, and many other works associated with various subjects – architecture, horses, nature, as well as bookplates and portraits.

Jan Maciej Kopecki is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. He has worked for PWPW S.A. since 1973. He is a graphic artist, a designer, an engraver, an author of banknotes, postage stamps, copperplates, and steel engravings.

The exhibition shall be held until 11 September 2011 at the Adam Mickiewicz Museum of Literature located at the following address in Warsaw: Rynek Starego Miasta 20. The exhibition is open for visitors on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 10.00 to 16.00, on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.00 to 18.00, on Sundays (except each last Sunday in a month) from 11.00 to 17.00. Ticket prices: regular – PLN 6, discounted – PLN 5.
